Ahead of Sonam's Cannes Red Carpet Appearance, a Message From Anil Kapoor

Actor Anil Kapoor has sent his warm wishes for actress daughter Sonam ahead of her appearance at 2016 Cannes Film Festival.

The 30-year-old actress will be walking the Cannes red carpet as L'Oreal Paris ambassador on May 15 and May 16. Recording his wishes in a short video, Mr Kapoor said, "Sonam, all the best for Cannes. May 2016 be the best year for you at Cannes."

Sonam made a stylish entry into the French Riviera on Saturday night, looking chic in an Anamika Khanna ensemble. Sonam was accompanied by her filmmaker sister Rhea Kapoor.
 

  This is Sonam's sixth year at the Cannes Film Festival and this year, she will also attend the prestigious amfAR gala on May 19.

Actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, has already walked the red carpet on May 13 and May 14. This year marked Aishwarya's 15th visit to the Cannes Film Festival.
